This season of life is so special. So many emotions - excitement, nervousness, happiness - it’s all there. A time this special needs to be documented; there’s nothing like it.
Newborns. Whether this baby is your first, last, or somewhere in between, there’s nothing like those first weeks with your new little one. I offer two types of sessions to document these moments, the Fresh 48* and the Newborn Story Session. The Fresh 48 session takes place within 48 hours of baby’s birth at the hospital or birthing center. I will come and capture those moments and details that can be so hard to remember in the tired haze after your baby comes into the world. The Newborn Story Session is scheduled within the first few weeks of bringing baby home, and the focus is on the baby within the family unit. I will capture some individual photos of baby, usually in their bassinet or crib, and photos with their parents and siblings. There could be photos of you feeding your baby, changing him or her, or bathing them. It’s up to you what we create, but I like to keep all of the newborn sessions- whether Fresh 48 or Story Session-as low stress and casual as possible. I want you to take the time during these sessions to soak up that new little baby, and let me help you remember those days.
Maternity and Family Beginnings. Whether it be a pregnancy, adoption, or announcement of your expanding family, growing your family is a beautiful thing. These moments are new and emotional and beautiful and some of my favorite occasions to photograph for you. These sessions are held on-location, whether in the comfort of your own home, in one of the beautiful parks we have in the area, or at another location we choose together.
